The service

miQ turns attendees’ phones into microphones at live events, with live transcription and AI summaries for the organizer. You need a modern phone or laptop browser and a venue sound system; audio quality depends on networks and hardware we don’t control.

Plans, billing, cancellation

  • Your first two counted events are free. miQ Plus ($20/month) includes 4 counted events per billing cycle with up to 300 attendees each; miQ Pro ($50/month) has no event or attendee limits.
  • Subscriptions renew monthly through Stripe and can be cancelled anytime from the billing portal; you keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for (partial periods aren’t refunded).
  • What counts as an event: an event counts toward your quota once it’s actually run with an audience, as determined by miQ; brief test runs don’t count. A recurring event counts once for each month it’s used. Deleting an event does not remove it from your quota.

Your responsibilities

  • Tell your audience the event is transcribed where local law requires an announcement (the join screens carry a written notice; the spoken one is yours).
  • Don’t use miQ to record people without their knowledge, to broadcast unlawful content, or to probe or overload the service.
  • Keep your account and moderator links to yourself.

Data

What we collect and keep is described in the privacy policy. Deleting an event permanently deletes its transcript, names, and ratings. Your event content is yours; we claim no rights to it beyond operating the service.

The honest disclaimer

miQ is provided as-is, without warranties or an uptime guarantee. Run the pre-event checks before high-stakes events. Our total liability for any claim is capped at what you paid us in the three months before the claim. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this page with a new effective date.
